In 2005, the McKinney ISD orchestra program was founded by directors Margaret Brown and Ruth Kurtis. From its humble beginnings, the district’s orchestra enrollment now exceeds 2000 students on 5 middle school and 3 high school campuses.

In its relatively short existence, North Orchestra has created a legacy of excellence. Based on our core values of Artistry, Growth, and Service, we strive to be the best musicians and humans possible.
